The original version of the Incontinence-Associated Dermatitis (IAD) was launched by Prof. Dimitri Beeckman and a team of experts. The updated publication reflects a decade of progress in IAD prevention, assessment, terminology, and managment whilse also addressing ongoing challenges, including the frequent missclassificiation of IAD and pressure injuriries.
